Senior Advisor – Government Affairs / Strategic Relations
Seeking Senior Advisors to support strategic research and international cooperation initiatives. This remote advisory role is suited for professionals with backgrounds in government, public policy, foreign affairs, or industry associations. Candidates with strong institutional networks and insights into cross-strait economic relations and regional policy developments are particularly encouraged to connect.
We Are Looking for Senior Advisors (Remote) – Government Affairs / Strategic Relations. A company is expanding its international advisory network and is seeking Senior Advisors with strong backgrounds in government, foreign affairs, policy institutions, law enforcement agencies, or industry associations. This role is designed for high-level professionals and former officials who can contribute strategic insights, policy understanding, and valuable institutional networks to support the company's international cooperation and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis and evaluation of foreign enterprises investing in China as well as international shipping and logistics companies
- Provide research and insights on cross-strait (Mainland China–Taiwan) economic relations and cooperation trends
- Support the company's core business by helping connect policy resources, industry stakeholders, and institutional partners
- Offer strategic advice on regulatory developments, government relations, and cross-border cooperation opportunities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in government agencies, foreign affairs offices, law enforcement institutions, or policy research organizations
- Access to government or institutional networks related to cross-strait cooperation is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of cross-strait policies and regional economic dynamics
- Current, former, or retired officials, as well as professionals with extensive public-sector experience, are encouraged to apply
- Establish connections with chambers of commerce and trade associations
